Who we Are
Founded in 2012, Digifé was created to be a leading video production company in Chicago. Our goal will always be to produce well crafted, and creatively driven content for our clients. We are a blend of diverse, talented, and entrepreneurial minds who take pride in the creative storytelling process.
What is Digifé (Di-juh-fay)? The name of the company was inspired by the founder’s first mentor, his father Donnie Seals Sr. Now a retired video production professional, he had a goal of opening a studio that combined his two passions — a digital studio upstairs, and a coffee house below. While he wasn’t able to make that dream come to life during his tenure, he lives through his sons that picked up where he left off. A fusion of the words Digital Cafe, became Digifé.

Eric D. Seals
Eric Seals is the founder and director at Digifé. A radio & television graduate from Murray State University in Kentucky, Eric has worked for companies such as ESPN, HBO, Harpo, and the BIG Ten network. Eric is very passionate about storytelling, and finds that the best way to convey a message is through the lens of the camera. When he’s not filming, you can find him creating a mix on his Technics 1200’s.
Donnie Seals Jr.
Donnie Seals Jr. is a producer and editor at Digifé. A photojournalism graduate at Columbia College, his love for documentary filmmaking was birthed after watching the film Hoop Dreams. Donnie's calendar is filled with production shoots along with supporting the Chicago Bulls. Saturdays are often reserved for visiting many of Chicago's famed record stores scavenging bargain bins for out of print Prince records.
